Mutual Aid Assists Task Force 6 at Pine Hill Fire

Pine Hill, NJ — December 1 — Task Force 6 of the Pine Hill Fire Department was sent to a reported home fire on Kayser Avenue. The residence's first and second stories, as well as the rear deck, were on fire when first-arriving units arrived. Nineteen members from Tower Ladder 6, Engine 6, Squad 6, Chief 6, and Battalion 6 arrived on the scene. While headquarters established operational control and assignments, crews launched a synchronized fire attack.


Mutual aid organizations arrived to assist with fireground operations and suppression, assisting crews in quickly containing the fire. There were no recorded injuries, and the fire spread very little. Officials observed that an orderly and effective event result was facilitated by a clear command structure, efficient coordination, and mutual aid support.
