Magnolia, NJ — December 29 — In response to a reported working structure fire in the 300 block of Warwick Road, Lawnside Fire Company dispatched Squad 272 and Safety 272. In order to help initial suppression operations, Squad 272 arrived and secured a hydrant, creating a water supply for the first-due company.

While other responding companies took care of fire attack, search, and ventilation responsibilities, crews stayed to help with fireground support once the water supply was established. While on the scene, Safety 272 supported firefighter accountability and provided monitoring. Crews were able to sustain consistent fireground activities by establishing an early and dependable water supply. There were no reported injuries. Officials observed that a well-organized and effective incident was made possible by a coordinated mutual-aid reaction and clear communication.
