Haddonfield, NJ — November 29 — A reported house fire in the Company 29 first-due area prompted the dispatch of Haddon Fire Company No. 1. Quint Company 29 was the first to arrive and served as the first engine company, establishing a supply line from a nearby hydrant. A two-story, wood-frame, single-family home with flames visible from the second-floor Delta side was discovered by the crews.

After arriving, Deputy Chief 29 took command. The Quint Company swiftly contained and put out the second-floor fire by advancing an attack line through the Alpha side to the fire's seat. Search, ventilation, utility control, overhaul, and salvage were aided by engine, ladder, squirt, quint, and squad companies from other nearby departments. The Magnolia Ambulance Corps offered emergency medical coverage. There were no reported injuries.
