Mocanaqua Volunteer Fire Company No. 1 was dispatched on December 19, 2025, to assist Salem Township with storm-related conditions after multiple trees were reported down in the area of Varners Hollow Road. Utility 118 responded on the mutual aid assignment to help mitigate hazards and support roadway safety. Motorists are urged to use extreme caution while traveling through the area, as road closures, debris, and delays may be encountered while crews work to clear the scene.
