In the early morning hours of Tuesday, December 16, 2025, members of the Larksville Fire Department responded to a Landing Zone Stand-By assignment to support an incoming medical helicopter. The call, logged as Incident 2025-367, was dispatched at approximately 4:32 a.m. Crews established and secured a safe landing zone to facilitate the arrival of Geisinger Life Flight, ensuring clear access and scene safety under nighttime winter conditions.
Engine 1 and Ambulance 554 were placed on scene alongside the Life Flight crew, working together to provide coordinated support for patient transport.
