Crews Respond to Late-Night Possible Commercial Structure Fire in Edwardsville

December 10, 2025 —Larksville Fire Department

Emergency crews were dispatched late Tuesday night to Edwardsville for a reported possible commercial structure fire. The call, logged as incident 2025-361, was received at approximately 11:58 p.m., prompting a coordinated multi-agency response to investigate the report and ensure public safety.

Units operating on scene included Larksville Fire Department Engine 1, Edwardsville Ladder Company, Kingston/Forty Fort Engine 1, and Medic 13A. Firefighters arrived to find emergency apparatus positioned along a wet roadway as crews conducted checks of the structure and surrounding area. Operations focused on confirming conditions, assessing any potential hazards, and ensuring the incident did not escalate into a working fire.

The response remained active while crews completed their investigation and secured the scene. No injuries were reported during the incident, and responding agencies worked together to clear the call safely and efficiently.
