Kingston Forty Fort Fire Department Opens Hiring for Entry-Level Firefighter/Paramedic Positions

December 19, 2025 — The Kingston Forty Fort Fire Department has officially opened the application process for entry-level Firefighter/Paramedic positions, offering qualified candidates the opportunity to begin a rewarding career in public service. The department is seeking motivated individuals ready to serve the communities of Kingston, Forty Fort, and surrounding areas as part of a dedicated and highly trained professional team.

The position offers a competitive starting salary of $72,213.50, with a sign-on bonus available, night shift differential, and full salary after two years. Additional benefits include 15 paid holidays, two weeks of vacation in the first year, cost-of-living increases, pension enrollment, life insurance, CEU reimbursement, and representation through Union Local 0840. These benefits reflect the department’s commitment to supporting its members both professionally and personally.
