Philadelphia Firefighters Host Career Q&A for Local Students

As part of a career discovery session organized by the Philadelphia Fire Department, children from Ed Snider Youth Hockey & Education visited Engine 29, Rescue 01, and Medic 15 on December 18. Students had a Q&A session on careers in public service with members assigned to the companies, as well as staff from the Fire Prevention and Code Division and EMS administration. Fire prevention, emergency medical services, fire control, and the necessary training for each position were all covered.
