Vehicle Strikes Home on Aber Road Early December 26

Before 5:15 a.m. on December 26, Penn Hills No. 7 Volunteer Fire Company and nearby stations sent out units in response to a report of a car colliding with a building in the 7900 block of Aber Road. The incident was reported to stations 221, 222, and 227.
When the Penn Hills Police Department arrived, they discovered an abandoned car that had collided with a home's corner. The operator reportedly left the location before the police arrived. Rescue 227 arrived and verified that the home's inhabitants were unharmed. After doing a structural evaluation, firefighters discovered moderate movement to a load-bearing wall. Consequently, Penn Hills Code Enforcement and the Penn Hills Fire Marshal were informed of additional assessment. 227CHF was in charge of the incident. The police department is investigating the cause of the collision.
