Engine Company Assists at Power Line Incident

Willingboro, N.J. — 18th December — Operating out of 398 Charleston Road, Willingboro Fire Department responded to a utility emergency involving a damaged primary power line on Charleston Road. To secure the area and wait for utility technicians, Engine 1612 was stationed there.


According to officials, parts of the township's Buckingham section had a power outage after a fallen tree branch struck and severed a key electrical line. While waiting for PSE&G to make repairs, firefighters established scene safety, restricted access, and kept an eye on conditions. During the event, no injuries were recorded. During power-related incidents throughout the township, utility standby responses are crucial in safeguarding the public and assisting with safe restoration efforts.
