Willingboro, N.J. — 1st December — The Willingboro Fire Department, located at 398 Charleston Road, provided practical instruction on recently acquired battery-operated extrication equipment. The Holmatro-manufactured device is intended to facilitate vehicle rescue operations with faster deployment and cordless operation.

Before using the equipment in controlled training settings, firefighters went over tool components, battery maintenance, and safe operating procedures during the session. To gain familiarity with tool performance and handling, crews conducted basic extrication operations. Structured equipment training, according to department officials, helps guarantee consistent use during emergency situations. Maintaining preparedness and responder safety during all operational shifts continues to require ongoing training on new technologies.
