November 24, 2025 —Elm Hill Hose Company No. 3 announced that it will host a Winter Clothing Giveaway on Saturday, December 13, 2025, providing free winter clothing to community members in need.

Thanks to an overwhelming response and generous donations from residents, the department confirmed it has collected enough items to hold its first-ever clothing handout. The event is intended strictly as a giveaway and is not a clothing collection drive. Anyone in need of winter clothing is welcome to attend.

The giveaway will take place at the Elm Hill Hose Co. #3 firehouse, located at 41 Vine Street in Plymouth, Pennsylvania, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. A wide selection of winter apparel, including coats, hats, socks, and other cold-weather essentials, will be available to help residents stay warm throughout the winter season.

Department members expressed their appreciation to everyone who contributed, noting that the strong community support made it possible to give back in a meaningful way. Organizers emphasized that the event reflects the department’s ongoing commitment to serving and supporting local families beyond emergency response.
