In recent days, there have been several weather-related car crashes on Camp Meeting Road, which has alarmed local emergency personnel. On Tuesday, December 9, Fair Oaks Station 308 and Leetsdale Station 309 responded to an accident that was caused by unfavorable weather. This was the first recorded event.

On the evening of December 14, there was another significant collision on the same route, which was once more caused by bad weather. A head-on collision involving two sedans and another vehicle that lost control on the snow-covered route and smacked a power pole was among the numerous damaged automobiles that responders came across.
