Around midnight on November 29, the Fair Oaks Volunteer Fire Department's Stations 308 and 309, along with a number of other agencies, responded to a reported house fire in Ben Avon. During suppression and support operations, crews worked alongside local fire companies and offered mutual aid. Before going back to work, firefighters stayed on the scene until about 3:30 a.m. The community's ongoing safety and assistance for the main department managing the situation were guaranteed by the well-coordinated nocturnal reaction.
