Vincentown, NJ — December 21 — Vincent Fire Company responded to a reported structure fire in Springfield Township as part of a mutual-aid assignment. For slightly over two hours, Tender 1716's crew of seven firefighters responded to the scene and assisted with operations.

Operating under established incident command and safety protocols, the tender crew helped with water delivery and fireground assistance. Vincent units were freed and put back into service without any problems after fulfilling their assigned responsibilities. In order to maintain fire coverage for Southampton Township in the event of another emergency, more members stayed in quarters during the response. While resources were allocated out of town, this staffing plan guaranteed ongoing local preparedness.
