Box 2-8 was sent to a working house fire on Second Street in Orrtanna at 11:22 a.m. on November 26. Engine Tanker 3 and Rescue Engine 3 from the Fountaindale Volunteer Fire Department responded.

Crews from Fountaindale were tasked with water supply and fill site operations as soon as they arrived. For around three hours, firefighters supported suppression efforts and ensured that businesses operating on the fireground had a steady supply of water. The Leitersburg Volunteer Fire Department used Tanker 9 to provide standby coverage inside the Fountaindale response area during the incident. Before going back into service, units stayed on the scene until they were released by command.
