Around 1:50 am on Thursday, 1/21/2023 the Mohegan, Montville, Oakdale, Chesterfield and the Mohegan Tribal Fire Departments with the Norwich FAST were dispatched to 185 Park Avenue for a house fire. Ladder 15 arrived with smoke showing and stretched a 1.75" hoseline where they found active fire in the basement. Engine 12 tied into the ladder and gave them their tank water. Poquetanuck provided an ambulance and the Montville Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.
