Bolton, Connecticut — December 13 — Bolton Fire Department personnel helped with the Wreaths Across America event at Bolton Centre Cemetery. Every year, the community came together to pay tribute to the veterans buried at the cemetery. Personnel from the fire department offered assistance to guarantee the ceremony was carried out uninterrupted and safely. Every December, Wreaths Across America events are organized nationwide to commemorate dead service members, pay tribute to those who served, and impart the importance of freedom. Participation from local emergency services is still crucial to these celebrations. The committee's efficient planning and organization were praised by the event organizers, who also recognized a high level of community participation. The Bolton Fire Department was pleased to participate in the event and help pay tribute to the area soldiers.
