LAKEVILLE, NY - On Friday, December 15, 2023, at 2:34 P.M., the Lakeville fire department and Livonia EMS were dispatched for a controlled burn that was out of control at 3323 West Lake Road. First arriving units found a brush pile on fire and spreading into a cornfield. Mutual aid was requested to the scene from East Avon, Avon, Livonia and Livingston County Special Op's for UTVs, brush trucks and water supply. The fire was declared under control at 3:53 P.M. There were no injuries.
