Multi-Agency Response Handles Single-Vehicle Crash in Plainfield

Wauregan, CT — December 12 — A single-vehicle rollover on Green Hollow Road at Roper Road was reported, and the Atwood Hose Fire Company, American Legion Ambulance, and the Plainfield Police Department responded. Before rescue personnel could arrive, the lone inhabitant had self-extricated. Firefighters supported overall scene safety, secured the vehicle, and dealt with road hazards.

After assessing the patient on the spot, American Legion Ambulance took her to William W. Backus Hospital in Norwich for additional medical assessment. In addition to establishing traffic control, Plainfield Police started looking into what caused the collision. In order to guarantee patient treatment and safe roadway operations, the reaction demonstrated regular coordination between fire, EMS, and law enforcement.
