WHITEHALL TWP., PA - On December 13, 2025 at 8:20 P.M., the Whitehall Fire Department was dispatched for an apartment building fire at Fairmount Place Apartments on 1 Maryland Circle in Whitehall Township.

Police arrived on the scene and had fire showing from a first floor apartment. Police officers then started to evacuate the building. The fire ended up going to 4 alarms with numerous fire and EMS units responding from Lehigh and Northampton Counties.

A Mass Casualties Incident was declared due to the amount of residents requiring care. The American Red Cross was assisting the residents of the complex who were displaced by the fire.
