Alloway, NJ — November 15 — Ladder 19-6 assisted the Alloway Township Fire Company in their mutual aid response to a working structure fire. Members of the ladder company were tasked with assisting with fire suppression efforts as teams attempted to contain severe fire conditions. In order to facilitate access and support businesses using handlines on the roof and upper sections of the building, the ladder was placed. Ladder 19-6 men helped with overhaul after the main body of fire was put out. They checked for an extension and helped remove damaged items to make sure the fire was completely put out. Throughout the operation, crews worked closely with incident command and other responding departments. Units stayed on the scene until suppression and overhaul goals were accomplished, and no casualties were recorded.
