December 11, 2025 — Members of the McVeytown Fire Department continued making strong progress on the interior of their new fire station, spending the last three nights applying multiple coats of paint as work moves closer to completion.

Department officials praised the dedication and teamwork shown by the volunteers, noting that long hours and hard work are paying off as the station takes shape. Members said they are looking forward to finishing the project and moving into a space that will better serve both firefighters and the community.

The department summed it up best with their motto: “Whatever It Takes.”
