November 11, 2025 | Witmer Fire Protective Association — Witmer Fire Protective Association announced the arrival of its new 2026 Chevrolet Tahoe command vehicle in East Lampeter Township, Lancaster County. The new unit replaces the department’s 2021 Ford F-150 4x4 command vehicle, which served the organization for several years. Over the coming weeks, the Tahoe will be outfitted with emergency lighting, graphics, radios, and mounted equipment brackets before being placed into service around the beginning of 2026. Department officials credited the successful acquisition to the continued support of their membership and the local community, noting that updates on the vehicle’s progress will be shared as the build-out continues.
