November 20, 2025 — The Chief Logan Volunteer Fire Department responded with Engine 42-1 and Duty 42 to assist the Milroy Fire Company at a residential structure fire.
Engine 42-1 was assigned to Division 2, where crews conducted fire attack operations and worked extensively during the overhaul phase to ensure the fire was fully extinguished and no hidden hot spots remained.
The incident also marked a milestone for Firefighter Finkenbiner, who operated on his second fire since completing his essentials training and earning interior firefighter status. Department leadership commended his continued progress and the teamwork displayed during the response.
