Volunteers Support Community Tree Lighting Event on December 5

The yearly Community Tree Lighting, Night of 1,000 Stars, was attended by members of the New Providence Volunteer Fire Department, who provided backup coverage all night long. As the borough's citizens came together to celebrate the holiday season, firefighters were present to assist. The department expressed gratitude to New Providence Business and the Borough of New Providence for organizing this year's event and carrying on the custom that unites the neighborhood.
