Engine 251 Operating at Two-Alarm Fire in Avalon on Thanksgiving Morning

November 27, 2025 — Engine 251 from the Seville Volunteer Fire Company responded this Thanksgiving morning to a two-alarm structure fire in the Borough of Avalon, operating with a crew of five volunteers.


Upon arrival, crews encountered fire conditions on all three floors of the structure. Firefighters worked alongside mutual aid partners to bring the blaze under control. As of the latest update, the fire was contained, and no injuries were reported.


Department officials commended the volunteers who left their holiday morning to protect the community, noting the continued importance of mutual aid and coordinated response during large-scale incidents.
