November 27, 2025 — The Seville Volunteer Fire Company responded to multiple motor vehicle crashes across the area as snow and a sudden flash freeze created hazardous driving conditions throughout the township.

At the time of the update, the department’s engine company was actively handling a two-vehicle crash within the township, while crews monitored and responded to several additional crashes reported in the area. Firefighters worked to secure scenes and assist as conditions continued to deteriorate.

Officials urged motorists to use extreme caution, reduce speed, and avoid unnecessary travel during rapidly changing winter weather, noting that flash freezing can quickly turn roadways dangerous with little warning.
