Springfield FMBA Local 57 Mourns the Passing of Retired Cranford Firefighter Eddie Wallace

Following the death of retired firefighter Eddie Wallace of the Cranford Fire Department, Springfield FMBA Local 57 sent its sincere condolences. Local 57 members offer their condolences and prayers to the Cranford Fire Department, Eddie's family, friends, and everyone who had the honor of serving with him.

Firefighter Wallace served the fire and emergency services community for more than thirty years. In 1988, he started working for the Cranford Fire Department's Call Department. In 1993, he joined the Career Department, where he remained until retiring in 2019. He spent several years with the Cranford First Aid Squad as part of his dedication to service.

Eddie Wallace is recognized by Local 57 as a firefighter who, throughout his career, demonstrated commitment, leadership, and compassion. We will never forget the influence he had on the fire department and the communities he served. Springfield FMBA Local 57 commemorates the life and service of a brother fireman while standing in solidarity with Cranford during this trying time.
