December 6, 2025 — The West Deer Volunteer Fire Company #3 has teamed up with Paws Across Pittsburgh to support animals in need through an Animal Angel Tree, now set up at the fire station.

The Angel Tree provides the community with an opportunity to donate items that will directly benefit animals cared for by the organization, which has helped countless pets across the region. Donations can be dropped off at the station on Tuesday and Saturday evenings, or residents can message the fire company’s page to arrange an alternate drop-off time.

Fire company members encouraged community participation, noting that small acts of generosity can make a big difference for animals in need this holiday season.
