Whitehall Fire Company Station 38 Honors Leadership and Youth Excellence at Annual Banquet

November 16, 2025 — Members of Station 38 proudly extended their congratulations to Assistant Chief Keith Bilder on receiving the Robert L. Benner Award, a prestigious honor recognizing exceptional dedication, leadership, and unwavering service to both the department and the Whitehall community.

The department also celebrated Ayden Salsano, who was named Junior Firefighter of the Year at the Whitehall Fire Department’s Annual Banquet. Officials praised Salsano’s hard work, passion, and commitment to the fire service, noting that his enthusiasm and dedication truly set him apart.

Station 38 expressed sincere appreciation to the neighboring departments that provided coverage during the banquet, allowing members to safely gather and recognize achievements. Special thanks were extended to the Laury’s Station Volunteer Fire Company, Northampton Fire Department, Greenwald’s Fire, and the Catasauqua Fire Department for their support.

Department leadership said they are incredibly proud of both honorees and deeply grateful for their continued service, emphasizing that recognitions like these reflect the strength, professionalism, and future of the Whitehall fire service.
