Dec. 6, 2025 —Robert Fulton Fire Company units responded Friday morning to a motor vehicle collision on the 2300 block of Robert Fulton Highway (Route 222) in Fulton Township.
Squad 89 with a crew of five and Brush 89 were dispatched at 9:10 a.m. Upon arrival, crews found a vehicle that had left the roadway and struck a utility pole, resulting in downed wires and significant damage. Due to the hazardous conditions and the need for utility and recovery operations, Robert Fulton Highway was closed between Pilottown Road and Black Barren Road for several hours.
Fire police assisted with traffic control while emergency personnel secured the scene and coordinated with utility crews. Motorists were advised to avoid the area and seek alternate routes during the closure.
