November 24, 2025 —The Robert Fulton Fire Company announced Monday that it has officially secured all food items—excluding desserts—for its upcoming free community Thanksgiving meal, thanks to an outpouring of generosity from residents, businesses, and supporters across the region.
Over the past several weeks, the all-volunteer fire company received extensive food and monetary donations that allowed organizers to fully stock their kitchen with the ingredients needed to prepare a traditional, home-cooked Thanksgiving dinner. Cash donations were used to purchase remaining essentials, ensuring the meal can be provided without drawing from the company’s general operating funds.
Fire company officials emphasized that community support plays a vital role in making the annual meal possible while allowing the department to remain focused on its primary mission of emergency response and equipment readiness.
With main food needs now fulfilled, the company is requesting dessert donations of any kind. Desserts may be dropped off on Wednesday throughout the day or Thursday morning prior to meal service. The kitchen will be staffed all day Wednesday to receive items.
The Robert Fulton Fire Company expressed sincere thanks to everyone who contributed food, funds, time, and effort, noting that the continued success of the free Thanksgiving meal reflects the strength and generosity of the community it serves.
