Rheems Fire Department Assists with Multi-Building and Brush Fire in Dauphin County

On November 6, 2025, units from the Rheems Fire Department were dispatched to Dauphin County Box 81-4 to assist the Elizabethtown Fire Department, Station 74, with an active incident involving several buildings and surrounding brush on fire. Engine 70 and Tanker 70 responded and operated on scene as part of a coordinated multi-department effort to control the fire and prevent further spread. Firefighters worked alongside assisting agencies to support suppression operations, water supply, and scene safety. Department officials noted that mutual aid responses such as this remain critical in managing complex incidents and protecting life and property across jurisdictional lines.
