On December 5, 2025, the Rawlinsville Volunteer Fire Company announced plans for its annual holiday tradition welcoming Santa Claus to the community. Santa will visit the fire station and travel throughout the company’s first-due area on Saturday, December 20, 2025, with assistance from volunteer firefighters. Beginning at 5:30 p.m., Santa will ride aboard a fire apparatus through Martic Township, Drumore Township, and East Drumore and Providence Township, making brief scheduled stops along designated routes to greet residents. The tour will conclude with Santa returning to the fire station at approximately 8:05 p.m., where community members will have an additional opportunity to visit him from 8:15 p.m. to 8:45 p.m. Fire company officials advised that times are subject to change due to the size of the coverage area and encouraged residents to follow the department’s Facebook page for live updates throughout the evening. The Rawlinsville Volunteer Fire Company extended holiday wishes to the community and thanked residents for their continued support of local volunteer firefighters.
