December 9, 2025 — The East Prospect Fire Company held its final regular meeting tonight, marking a meaningful moment for members and leadership alike. Prior to the meeting, personnel gathered to enjoy a spaghetti dinner and dessert, sharing fellowship ahead of the evening’s reflections.
During the meeting, the Chief and administrative staff took time to thank firefighters and support personnel for their dedication and commitment through the department’s final days—especially those who stood by during several challenging calls this month. Leaders expressed deep appreciation for everyone who remained with the company through its final chapter.
Members are now looking ahead to one more special tradition: escorting Santa through the Borough one last time. The farewell event is scheduled for Saturday at 6:00 p.m., offering the community an opportunity to celebrate the season and honor the department’s legacy of service.
