December 9, 2025 — Engine 9-1, staffed with a crew of four, was transferred alongside the Nashville Fire Department to assist the Fairview Township Fire Department #2 during a first-due, second-alarm house fire being handled by Company 68.

The transfer was made to provide additional coverage and support while operations continued at the working fire. Fire officials confirmed that Dover Township remained fully staffed throughout the response to ensure continued protection for local residents.

The deployment highlights the importance of mutual aid and coordinated response among neighboring fire departments during large-scale incidents.
