Ridgefield Park, N.J. - Volunteer firefighters assembled at Village Hall on the evening of December 9^th to attend the Board of Commissioners meeting which included swearing in the new fire officers for 2026.  

Chief of Department William Lynn gave his annual report to the commissioners.  To date in 2025, volunteer firefighters have answered 440 alarms, totaling 3700 man hours operating at emergencies.  The chief thanked the members of the Police Department, Rescue Squad, D.P.W., other village agencies and the Board of Commissioners for their support over the year. 

Fire Commissioner John Anlian thanked the volunteers for their service to the community.  He stressed a big thank you to the members families for allowing them to leave home, family functions, etc., when an alarm sounds.  He stated that local residents take the Fire Department for granted as just another government function; however, they do not recognized the training, hard work, sacrifices and dedication that the volunteers offer.

Chief Lynn will enter his second term as Chief of Department.  Assistant Chiefs are Jacob Zardoya and Michael Alberque. 

Engine Co. 1 Captain is Peter Arciuolo and the Lieuteanat is Christopher Santana.  Engine Co. 2 Captain is Timothy Rudersdorf, 1^st Lieutenant Matthew Mc Gurty and 2^nd Lt. Andres Faciolince. Hose Co. 3 Captain is Brian Dolch and Lieutenant Don Jump.  Ladder Co. 1 Captain is John Malool  and Lieutenant John Van Buskrk.  Truck Co. 2 Captain is Raymond Dembski, 1^st Lt. Robert Fuchs and 2^nd Lt. Luis Cruz.  

The administrative members are: President Michelle Lynn, Vice President Connor O'Grady, Treasurer Michael Alberol and Secretary James Schmitt.
