Clark, N.J. — November 22 — A report of a cat caught in a tree prompted the Clark Fire Department to send out Ladder 1 for an animal rescue mission in Rahway Park. After arriving on the scene, firefighters evaluated the situation and set up the ladder so they could safely approach the animal.
In order to remove the cat safely, crews worked carefully. The animal was safely hoisted to the ground after the rescue went off without a hitch. After the procedure, a close bystander took care of the cat and offered to take it home.
