Clark, N.J. — November 17 — As part of a mutual aid reaction, one engine from the Clark Fire Department was called into the Borough of Roselle for a cover assignment. Engine 3 was redirected and reassigned to a working structure fire that had reached a fourth alarm while on approach.
When Clark firemen arrived, they helped put out a fire that was affecting three buildings. To stop the spread of the fire and assist prolonged fireground operations, crews worked with members of the Roselle Fire Department and many mutual aid organizations. Because of the incident's magnitude, responding agencies needed to coordinate their efforts and provide more resources.
