ELIZABETH, NJ - When a Signal 411 reported a working fire with confined individuals on November 22, 2025,, Tour 1 units were sent to Stiles Street and Magie Avenue. When Deputy Chief 1 arrived first, he discovered a sizable duplex with extensive fire visible from the right-side unit's first floor and extending to adjacent exposures.

Before the unit arrived, several tenants left. While Engines 7 and 8 launched a fire attack, Ladder 1 and Rescue 1 performed searches. Four alarms were sent out due to advanced fire conditions, bringing in more mutual aid resources from the city, Union Township, and Union County.
