Cranford, N.J. — November 11 — On Veterans Day, the Cranford Fire Department honoured everyone who had served in the US military, giving veterans in particular recognition. The event brought attention to the relationship between military service and emergency responders' common ideals of duty, cooperation, and helping others.

Firefighter Bisset of the U.S. Army, Fire Instructor Moran of the U.S. Coast Guard, Firefighter Taberna of the U.S. Coast Guard, and Lt. Giordino, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps, were honored. After leaving the military, their dedication to serve persisted in their everyday efforts to safeguard the Cranford neighborhood.
