STEWARTSVILLE, N.J. — November 11 — In honour of the men and women who served in the armed services, the Stewartsville Volunteer Fire Company in Greenwich Township observed Veterans Day. Leaders of the department pointed out that a number of local veterans continue to contribute to public safety by working in fire and emergency medical services, bringing important skills that improve day-to-day operations. Agencies throughout Warren County acknowledged the link between military service and emergency response, where readiness, discipline, and teamwork are still crucial.

Members of Stewartsville expressed gratitude and thought about the advice veterans give during training and emergency response. According to officials, the holiday offers a chance to commemorate the veterans who are still serving their communities. The department expressed its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has defended the country both domestically and internationally.
