WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, N.J. — November 11 — In honor of Veterans Day, the Washington Township Fire Department joined communities throughout Warren County in expressing gratitude to those who have served and are still serving the country. Numerous veterans from the area continue to work in public safety, providing fire and emergency medical services around the area with invaluable knowledge. According to the department, the day serves as a reminder of the commitment and accountability that service members and their families bear. Warren County Veterans Services sponsored regional celebrations that emphasized the value of commemorating their contributions. Veterans' collaboration, dependability, and dedication to duty, according to fire officials, continue to improve emergency services. The agency expressed gratitude and sent well wishes to all veterans and their families.
