November 24, 2025 — Members of the Bristol Borough Fire Association wrapped up several weeks of intensive training focused on Rescue Company and Ladder Company operations, strengthening readiness for complex, high-risk emergencies across the borough.
Crews concentrated on a wide range of critical skills, including vehicle stabilization, air bag lifting operations, Paratech strut placement, extrication techniques, low-angle rope rescue, and vertical ventilation. The hands-on drills challenged members to operate under demanding conditions while reinforcing coordination, safety, and technical precision.
Fire officials said the training ensures responders are prepared to protect the community day or night, praising the dedication, teamwork, and professionalism displayed throughout the program. The department emphasized that continued training remains a cornerstone of effective emergency response and public safety.
