Seabrook, NH – November 11 — Along with communities across the country, the Seabrook NH Fire Department observed Veterans Day to honour those who served in the U.S. Armed Forces. In 1919, the holiday was established as Armistice Day to commemorate the conclusion of World War I. The name was changed to Veterans Day in 1954 to honour all those who fought in American wars. Fire, rescue, and emergency service personnel frequently have prior service experience, which contributes discipline, teamwork, and preparedness to safeguard communities. The Seabrook Fire Department expresses gratitude to all veterans, both current and former, for their dedication to morality and patriotism.
