At 5:26 pm, Limerick Fire Department was dispatched for a vehicle accident in front of the Wawa on Ridge Pike. Rescue 51, Squad 51, and 51 Fire Police responded. Upon arrival, crews found glass and debris on the road. Fire Police assisted in directing traffic. Both vehicles involved sustained heavy damage. Crews proceeded to clear the roadway and stayed on scene until the tow company cleared the vehicles. All units were made available approximately forty-five minutes later.
