Nottingham, NH — November 18 — The Nottingham Fire Rescue Department, which is situated at 235 Stage Road, joined Northwood Fire for training on motor vehicle extrication gear. In realistic crash scenarios, members practiced accessing vehicles and removing barriers with hydraulic cutters and spreaders. Steps for coordinating patient-removal tactics and stabilizing vehicles were also included of the exercise. When reacting to collisions involving trapped individuals, especially on busy roads where prompt action can make a difference, extraction abilities are crucial. Firefighters can maintain seamless teamwork under duress and keep familiar with equipment with the aid of practical training. Consistent practices across departments are supported by collaborating with mutual-aid partners such as Northwood. In order to be ready for rescue calls in the neighbourhood and surrounding area, Nottingham Fire Rescue is still concentrating on developing practical skills.
