Nottingham, NH — November 16 — Lieutenant Craig Campbell conducted a water-supply training class at the Nottingham Fire Rescue Department, located at 235 Stage Road. After reviewing water pressure fundamentals in class, firefighters went outside to put what they had learnt into practice. In order to maintain a steady flow, crews practiced setting up a water supply, modifying pump pressures, and synchronising hose operations. This kind of training aids in preparing firemen for situations in places with long hose lines or few hydrants, when efficiently supplying water is crucial. Crews maintain their confidence with tools and processes thanks to leadership-driven skill development. Strong principles that enable safe operations and efficient service to the community and mutual-aid partners are still the Nottingham Fire Rescue Department's primary priority.
