Community Invited to Celebrate the Life of Retired Firefighter Dan Schroeder

On 7th december 2025 - The family of retired firefighter Dan Schroeder has announced plans for a Celebration of Life to honor his legacy of service, courage, and devotion to the Callaway community. The service will be held on Saturday, December 13, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home, with Pastor Donald Simpler officiating. Family and friends are invited to gather beginning at 1:00 p.m. to share memories and support one another before the service.
Dan Schroeder devoted more than 31 years of his life to the Callaway Fire Department, where he proudly served with professionalism, dedication, and heart. Throughout his career, he was known for his steady leadership, commitment to protecting others, and the deep respect he earned from fellow firefighters and community members alike.
His legacy extends far beyond his years of service, living on through the countless lives he helped protect and the many people he inspired along the way. The Callaway Fire Department and the community continue to honor his memory and the lasting impact of his selfless service.
